Presidential Helicopter Sim puts you literally in the driving seat with the president relying on you to keep him safe and secure during his travels in and around the Capitol. The helicopter simulator is divided into a number of missions and you have to normally pick up the President and his associate from one place and drop him to another. With a variety of helicopters available, the helicopter simulator stays true to its name and allows you a great amount of time to pilot the helicopter.

The layout of the app is extremely simple. You can start with a mission directly or you can first upgrade your helicopter or car and then start the mission. There are a total of 40 missions. Some of them are only about driving the President around in the car. Some include take-off and parking of the helicopter with the President sitting in the helicopter. Some include both the car and the helicopter.
In terms of the storyline, the helicopter simulator disappoints a lot. There is little to no main objective behind each mission and there are no stakes attached with the mission as well. All you need to do is to pick up the President and then to drop him off wherever required by the mission. It's simple as that. The only difference in missions is the length of the mission and whether the traveling would be through the car or the helicopter or both. With the addition of some threats and a fine narrative, the game can become great.

As far as the range of helicopters and cars is concerned, there is enough variety to keep the players entertained. There are a total of 10 cars and 7 helicopters available. A car and helicopter are unlocked to begin with. You can earn money by completing missions and then upgrade the car and helicopter and change the paint or buy a new helicopter or car too.
The controls of the game are fine and let you easily pilot the helicopter. The controls are available on the screen. The elevation controls are normally on the right and the direction controls are on the left. It's not that difficult to control the helicopter. However, the map can be extremely confusing if you are flying the helicopter at a very high elevation.
The graphics of the game are so-so. The locales and everything are not very clear and the location is normally not clear when the helicopter is close to landing. The graphics are acceptable in most cases though.
The scoring system is interesting. Every mission has four standard times. If you finish the mission within the best time, you get three stars. Otherwise, as you take more time to finish the mission, you would get fewer amounts of stars. If you take too much time, the mission gets timed out and then you have to do it again in order to unlock the next mission.
Apart from the graphics and poor storyline, my other gripe with the game is too many ads. There is an ad before the mission starts, before the mission ends and after the mission ends. It gets too much. The game also tries to make every effort to make you purchase something every 20-25 seconds. This is also frustrating. Ads are fine but they should be a bit more restrained in how and when they are displayed.

Presidential Helicopter Sim is only recommended if you are okay with the average graphics and insane amount of ads in order for control of a helicopter. Otherwise, stay clear!
